We are currently running Modular Messaging version 3.1. I am doing a new installation on a new server and the version is 5.2. I want to export my subscribers from the old version of 3.1 to the new version 5.2. How do I do this?

You may be able to use Mailbox Manager or ASA has an Import Subscriber feature...

Thanks,

Just to confirm. We are running an Avaya MAS with the Avaya MSS. Are these the steps:

Using ASA
1. Export from 3.1 the subscribers
2. Import to 5.2 on the MSS.

Do you know of any documentation?

Honestly... I haven't tried it before, but the fields are all there. I can assume it works similar to an ASA import of extensions on the PBX.

I don't think it matters version, as long as it's going into an MSS. Try (1) subscriber and see how it goes.

Thanks,

Is his an upgrade? If it is then just backup the 3.1 and restore it to the 5.2 system.

The install guide has the steps to do this with new servers.
