Window NT 4 is messed up so I can't repair it and I think I'm going to have to reinstall. Can I just copy the fiels in the SQL directory and then reinstall? We have a bunch of stored procedures. Where are those kept?

Is there anything else I need to copy?

You "should" be able to grab the MDFs and LDFs off the old server for safe keeping. Then reinstall your OS. Then ReInstall SQL Server. Once that is taken care of you "should" be able to execute the sp_attach_db stored procedure and bring your DBs back online. You can look in BOL (Books OnLine) for the syntax. You could also go thru Enterprise Manager and reattach the DBs too.

Thanks

Are the stored procedures associated with the databases?
