Moving SMS Site to another Server

I'm Planning to rebuild, not upgrade, our SMS 2003 SP1 Primary Server from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. After rebuilding the server, is there a way to reinstall SMS, use the same Primary Site name and have the Child Sites and Client Agents recognize it without reinstalling them.
If it can be done, is it documented and how can I get access
to the procedure.

I believe if you look at the recovery expert "replacing hardware" or something like that, it will be in there.

The key points are same site code and same net bios name....and a good backup, then restore the DB.
