I have been handed the responsibility of cleaning up the SharePoint service. The biggest complaint of my co-workers is that the Documents Link at the root address is empty. You must browse to before you can find the working Documents link.

So basically, what I want to do is either update the Documents link on the front page to redirect right into the document center we utilize or move the contents of the .../docs/ directory up a level to the root of the site.

What is the quickest and "disaster proof" method of doing this?

Thanks!

Q. Are you talking about the Documents link on the Quick launch menu on the left hand side?
Q. Are you talking about a link put into a link web part?

A.Go to the 'site settings/look and fell/quicklaunch menu and edit the link appropriately.
A. Go to the link web part title and click on it. Now shown is the list of the links, select as required.

Sorry, I was speaking of the "Documents" in the Quick Launch bar on the left. We are using SharePoint 2.0. When I go to site settings I don't see a Look and Feel option. Is this not available or listed as something else in SP 2.0?

The only documents I can find on this are that you can use Front Page 2003 to modify where the Quick Links point. I do not have/want Front Page. Does anyone have any suggestions for a way around this?
