If my repository is moved from one db to another - all the OBJ_* and UNV_* and DS_* tables moved to another db
how would i be able to log into Supervisor ???

That is a different thing that i would have to modify my connection settings thru which i created the repository but to modify this i need to at least open Supervisor.

I had faced this problem already in the past - i created the repository in db - i could open supervisor and make connections for SP's in Supervisor ....but by mistake i deleted all the (OBJ_* , UNV_* tables) in that case my Supervisor wouldn't open.. so i had to do all things over again.

TIA

I've brutally moved a repository (on SQLServer) from one db to another, all I had to do was to make a safe recovery, to get a new BOMain.key and once logged in check document and universe domains connection.
This is not a recommended practice, but works, and can also be used on Oracle with exp and imp utilities.

Actually, this is a very normal and acceptable thing to do.

You do a safe recovery and adjust the domain connections. The safe recovery builds a new .key file which points to you security domain. Then you can log in and "repair" the other domains.
