Hi All,

Is it possible to move some/all the contents of Programs Files in an NT environnment to another partion and still maintain the functionality of the application ? The applications are on the server, but they are also accessed from other work stations on the domain.

It depends - if program files folder contains everything necessary to run, then yes. You can test this easily enough (per application). If no, then it still depends. If the apps are running now from workstations accessing the server program files, they probably still will if you move the program files (as they will probably have other components, like necessary system files & registry entries installed locally). But basically, just test it by copying first and see if runs ok (might be a bit tedious if you've a lot of apps, but I you really do need to test before moving).
