I'm a MAT user (okay, so don't kill me) but I did have Nortel training on database. It's been a while since I've had to do things solely with the systems terminal.

Tomorrow I have to travel to another site to do some moves. Can anyone refresh me on the best way to do this? I think we move them to a spare TN, freeing up the original TN. Then we can move another TN to the spot that's empty.

I also anticipate having to move phones to a couple of workstations where no TNs are identified. What is the best way to find the TN?

Thanks!!

Print the DNB in LD 20 and that will give you the TN and then do LUU for 500 sets or LUVU for 2000 sets and that will give you the spare TN's. you can just move the TN to a vacant TN as you said.

The old fashion way is to trace the crosswire on the frame from jack to tn. There once was a time that you would move the crosswire from one jack to another. That way the MAT (I use OTM) data remains the same.
