I am in the process of moving everything to a new computer, and I am 99% done. The 1% is outlook. How do I move all my contacts, sent mail, saved mail, tasks, etc to the new computer?

I should point out here that this is a standalone machine and I am not networked at all.

Any help appreciated.

The way to move your data from MS Outlook is to copy the .pst file to a removable drive or CD. The .pst file is located in: C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

The easiest way to get to it is via Outlook itself: File > Data File Management... then highlight the required 'personal folder' file and click 'Open Folder...'

If it's outlook do above...

if it's outlook express you'll have to create a back up of the store directory and export your favorite.. then on outlook express on the new computer .. import the messages from the store directory, and import your contacts
