moving or pointing files/directories into other paths

I like to move or point some files or directories into other existing paths. As there any commands I can use for this purpose. Thanks for your time.

 
To move files, use mv. To change to another directory use cd. To make a pointer from a file in one directory to a file in another, use ln. For more information on any of these commands, type man in front of them.
