Hello,
I have "ghosted" my NT Server hard drive and placed it in another computer. I then ran NT 4.0 Server install again and chose upgrade. The upgrade went fine until the end. It said increase your registry and page file size. It then asked be to restart. It allowed me to login and then hangs.
Any info will be appreciated.

Something to try: take out some RAM, maybe 1/2 of it, and restarting it. If you are able to get in after doing that, increase the size of your pagefile and reboot. You should be able to put the RAM back in it later. Just make sure that your page file is larger than the amount of RAM you are using.

Are you sure that you have a lot of extra space on your drives? Is there room for a page file to be created?

When you ghosted your hard drive, what utility did you use? Did it strip out the SID on the computer prior to installing it in another computer? If not, you'll definitely run into problems later on, because the source and destination are using the same security identifier.

I don;t know...maybe this will help: (Whats the exact error message with Event ID?)
