moving non sent emails to be sent out

hi all

we have now a 12gig groupwise email system and is growing all the time, i would like to find out where to move all the unsent emails (as we have found a directory with a lot of these in) to get them reday to be reprocessed. does anyone know if this is possible and how to go about it
