Hi,

I recently moved the management software for the IP Office 403 from our NT server to a W2K client. The NT server has since been taken out of use. However I cannot download/upload the configuration. I'm confident that it is noting to do with ip or subnet mask. When I click the Open button the IP Office is found and I am prompted for the password. The password is then accepted, but an error message, stating that the config was not recieved OK, appears in the status bar.

Can anyone offer any assistance?

Ping it...If you can ping it then you should be able to dl the config.

If not try reloading the admin disk on the W2K client

Hi,

I can ping it and it even correctly checks the system password. I will try reloading the Management software again. Are there any files I should copy from the old PC?

chesk the working directory of the manager app is not an emnpty floppy drive
also check that you do not have a read only copy of the CFG in the working directory, both of these problems can cause a dl to fail without any indication as why
