When I select a lot of mail (or even one at times) and try to move it to a personal folder (pst) I get the following error "Can't move the items. Some items could not be moved. They are either already moved or deleted, or access was denied." I have tried adding permissions but this didn't help either.
Any help on this?

I've seen that happen before. The only thing I can think of is it happens because users do not have rights to move the emails off the server. Did you double check your pst and verify that they moved anyway? Usually what happens is it will create a copy of that email into the pst. -Brad

I have checked and it moves a few and leaves the rest. If it is an issue of not having the rights, how comes if you select a few, or ones without attachments, they will move? I have tried moving them one by one. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Some users including myself are saying they have done it before and nothing major has changed (the only thing that has been done is to put mailbox limitations). Might they be related in any way?

What's your antivirus software? This type of thing can occur if you've turned on VAPI protection...

Do you have Norton AntiVirus, If yes, Go to auto scan and check scan the store in the background. Give it a 1 hour for each 1 GB of store size, then try it. It should work...

It was the VAPI setting. I changed it to MAPI and it worked. Thanks a million guys. I am now able to enforce mailbox size restrictions.
