Hello all,

I wonder if someone can help me with some advice. I have several pop3 mailboxes and a website with domain on a host company, but their email service leaves something to be desired. So I want to move or recreate my mailboxes to another host company.

What I am wondering is what steps I need to take since I do not have access to the mail server. I would suspect I would request some ticket or code from my current host provider, but the situation is that any new email mailbox I create on the new host should use the domain of my current web host. If that is not the case, would I need to move my domain to the new email host as well?

e.g. an email address with the current host is either surname@hostcompany.co.uk or the domain being surname@ourcompany.ac.uk

Maybe if I do not want to move the domain then is there some way of setting some config at my new host to point to the domain at the current host?

If I have not made myself clear, please ask for further details

Thanks
