I have a user who has been away on holiday for 3 weeks. On her return she has realised that she accidently deleted some mail folders on her final day before holiday.

I have recovered from a backup tape an old copy of her mail database which contains the folders she needs back.

How can I copy these folders into her current mail database?

Many thanks in advance.

You say she deleted the folders - that would mean that the mails that were in the folders were not deleted.
In that case, the easiest thing would be to simply recreate the folders in the current mailbox, and print the folder contents from the old version in order to re-put the mails in the new folders.
Time consuming and manual, but the job can be done.
An other solution would be to create the folders manually again, but use some code to get the UNIDs of the docs in the backup, retrieve those docs and put them in the folders.
I should have some code for comparing the Inbox of a backup and current mail file. You could eventually transform it to work on the specific folders - one at a time.

Pascal.
