I've been playing around with Access now for some time and I'm getting the hang of the easy bits :)

I've created my 1st frontend and backend database and I'm having a little fun :)

If I wish to move the backend database to another location do I have to manually delete the linked tables in the frontend - then create new linked tables for the backend's new location? or is there a little bit of VBA that can be used to ammend the FrontEnd to look somewhere else for these tables?

If there is then life would be so much easier and I would have time to take a nap :)

Check thread181-61919. One of the posts provides code for linking in VBA code. Similar code is available in faq181-305. Terry L. Broadbent
