Moving ICU and Voicemail 1

Hi all, I need to move a voicemail server and the ICU where it's connected from LIM 1 to LIM 3. I've Transfer about everithing but the ICU. I have no idea How move the ILP unit from lim 1 to lim 3 in order to get the ICU work. The progra I use is Provoice.

I've try with CNPIP:UNIT=ILP; for remove the ILP programming from LIM 1 and then to reinizialise it on LIM 3 but it don't Work.

you don't have to move any unit,
just initiate the board in lim 3 and program it and it will work...

Hi' you have to install ILP in lim 3, first make a inl dump of ILP:
DUPUI:LIM=2,UNIT=ILP;
Then you have to install it:
LAPUL:LIM=3,UNIT=ILP;
Y;
And if ok you have to make a start of the unit:
SFCEI;
Y;
SFPUI:LIM=3,UNIT=ILP;
Y;

seems odd to me, that program unit should have been there in the first place, did you add the lim (LIM3) yourself?
or was the system started up like this??

In BC9 or lower, ILP was often only loaded in one LIM.
Therefore you will have to load ILP in the LIM=3 to get the ICU board to work.
After BC10 ILCP and ILNP has been loaded in all LIMs.

It is a part from ALEX:

The following program units shall be loaded before the interception computer can be installed:

IHAH in one LIM in the PABX

IHH in one LIM in the PABX

DIM in one LIM in the PABX (duplicated in systems with more than two LIMs)

DIR in each LIM in the PABX

ILP in the LIM in the PABX to which the interception computer is to be connected

Excellent, after the installation of ILP on lim 3, it semmes that the ICU work and the command ICFUI has result executed. Now I onli wait tomorrow to try if everithing works.

rfpui, I know. I just found it odd as I always load the full LIM disposition table.
