After entering text in a text box (I will also be using combo boxes/tick boxes) how do I then move onto the next one. Do I have to use a macro? Thanks Lamaar75@hotmail.com

I am using Office 2000 - the only option I can see is TabKeyBehaiviour - I have set this to True but it only allows Tabs within the text box.

Cheers Lamaar75@hotmail.com

I'm assuming you are asking about entering information into a form using Access.

In Access in Form/Design View, Tab Order is available via the View menu. It's also available if you (r)click the small black square at the top left of your form in design view ... in the corner between the rulers.

In the text/combo/tick boxes properties, make sure the Tab Stop is set to Yes.

Hope this is helpful, but sorry if I'm misunderstanding your query.

Appologies - I thought somewhere I had mentioned I was using MS Excel. I am OK'ish with Access but htought I'd try it within Exel. I wanted to enter info into Exel (via a form) then export this data into Access.

Sorry! Lamaar75@hotmail.com

I think you need help from someone with knowledge of Excel greater than mine!

But in the meantime, does using Data/Form help?

I haven't tried this with combo or tick boxes ... but for typed entries, Tab moves along the cells in a row. (Shift+Tab moves back to the previous cell.) Enter accepts the new entry and moves down to the first cell in the next row.
