I currently run an SBS 2003 R2 server with the sharepoint version latest side of things on MSDE.

I want to install SQL Server 2005 on it. AM I going to have to uninstall sharepoint and lose the data already created.

The reason I want SQL is that I want to be able to search a Library of documents and things. The only way this will happen I believe is if I install a proper SQL server.

Also has anyone ever done this and can I save the data already on my databases. If it is too much trouble then we will re-input.

Cheers
Scott
