Hi Gang,
I have a bit of an interesting situation. I currently have a Windows 2000 Server running Exchange 5.5 it was patched with the latest Service packs for Exchange Server 5.5 to work with Windows 2000 Server.
I am now in the process of completely re-building the Windows 2000 Server and loading Exchange Server 2000 instead of Exchange Server 5.5. I want to be able to keep the mail accounts. Just to be extra safe I am backing up the existing mail accounts to tape using Veritas Backup Exec. Does anyone know if I can simply restore the mail accounts to the new Exchange 2000 Server? or do I need to do anything special.
Any tips at all would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers,
