My university have both Groupwise 6.0 and 6.5 system.

Until now I use the 6.0 system in my old department, now I moving to a new department and I got a 6.5 account, but my documents and old emails stays in the 6.0 system (I also remain acces the 6.0 account).

My administrator "don't have any time for this type of problem". What can I do?

I try, but the 6.5 client can't read the 6.0 archive ("not correct version").

it should
are they running two seperate systems?
and you havent actually kept your old account

you will know by your fid
click on the about and it will give you a fid number
something like abc 0r 6y2

the archive should have a same identifier
if not then your crap admin guy needs to fid edit

alternatively the crude way - if it is two accounts
go into old one - email yourselve
unarchive and email yourself all your mails

and get your system admin to read the groupwise manuals
they are available at
