Hi,
I am in the following scenario:
In a number of months time Our company will be installing a number of heavy duty Terminal Servers, one of which must take up the role of the root domain controller in a new 2000 network that has been planned, as it is the most power and robust system. Until these syetm's have been bought and installed I can't start installtion and testing of the new Exchange server as the domain will not be available to connect to.
Can I:
Set up a domain (of the same same) now and begin testing / using the Exchnage server and once the other servers have come online - disengage the test / pilot domain and reconnect to the newly created domain (of the same name)while still keeping the same name space and user mail box accounts and settings?
I don't think this will work, does anybody know to the contrary?
Thanks,
Marcus
