Our company has 2 domains - one is called MASTER and the other is EXDOM. The MASTER domain is used most. We have two Exchange 5.5 w/SP4 servers, each running Windows 2000 Server w/SP2. The Exchange servers are in different locations (US and UK) but are both on the same EXDOM domain. Both the MASTER and EXDOM domains are 2-way trusts, and work well.

I'm tasked with moving the Exchange Servers to our most-used domain, MASTER, and to get rid of the other EXDOM domain. I'm looking for any information or guidance on how this can be done.

The domains are both NT 4.0 domains w/two-way trusts. We're preparing to move to AD by pruning our current multiple domains into just one (MASTER) to more easily transition.

hmm...maybe bring up a new server in the MASTER domain, join the same ORG/Site, then move mailboxes, connectors, copy public folders, system folders, etc....this of course works under the assumption that the user accounts are in the MASTER domain? If they're not, it'll be a rather lengthy process....
