Hi all I currently have a 2003 domain controller with exchange and dns installed. I would like to move the domain controller, dns, fsmo, ad to a new server but leave exchange where it is.

What are the steps that i have to take?

cheers

You can't remove the DC from Exchange, you need to remove Exchange from the DC.

Exchange on a DC is a major problem and is not supported.

If I cant move the DC from exchange what are the steps to move exchange to a new server?

Computer = $500
Internet connection = $35/mo
letmegooglethatforyou.com = priceless

Well...I *could* retype loads of details on how to do it but since it has been covered a zillion times by hundreds of people, I offered a series of links.

Well this post made my day...:) LOL
