Hi,

The C drive in my win2k server is full and i need to create some space in the server. Can i move the Documents and Settings folder to another drive so that i can create some space on the server.
If so what are the necessary changes needed to be done.

Regards

Daniel John

Hello,

You change the target folder location, right mouse click on My Documents > Properties >

Thanks Sound guy but i want to move my Documents and settings folder which gets created during the installationa and the profiles of those users are stored in it, because of which i am unable to move the folder.

Regards.

I am not too sure of your setup.

Have you tried using folder redirection on the group policy. Here you can redirect the contents of the users my documents.

You can also switch to roaming profiles, ans store the profiles elsewhere.

/Regards
