On our old NEC 200 IPS I have several DID lines. I have about five that were originally assigned to analog phones or fax machines that are no longer being uses. If I try to reassign the numbers to digital extensions it doesn't work. I use the 7600 command to find the conversion block and the 7601 and 7602 command to change the extension but the number doesn't work. Am I missing something moving a DID from an Analog to Digital extension?

Thank Melanie

That should be all you need to do. This is assuming that those DIDs are still functioning from telco.
What are the incoming digits?
How many digits are being pulsed in?
Do the numbers match your extension number plan?
Are they currently functioning to the original analog devices?
Can you call the digital extensions that you want the DIDs to go to internally?
