Ok, I found instructions on moving DHCP from an NT4 server
to a Win2k server, but nothing about moving to a clustered
Win2k setup.
In the instructions it says to copy the source server's
dhcp.mdb to %systemroot%\system32\dhcp on the target
server. You also export a registry key and restore it on
the target server.
To which locations do you copy that data on a cluster? I'm
guessing dhcp.mdb will go in %systemroot%\system32\dhcp on
the shared disk that the clustered DHCP resource uses
(rather than %systemroot% on each cluster member's disk).
But I also think I'll have to restore the registry key on
both cluster members rather than to one central location
on a shared resource. Is that correct?
So I would restore the registry key on both cluster
members, then copy dhcp.mdb on to the shared disk.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
