Could someone please help...

I'm in the process of moving our domain to 2008 and have moved our DHCP server to a new Box with a new IP address.

Everything is working fine apart from the IP Phones they will not talk to new DHCP server

I have changed the DHCP helper in the Nortel stack to point to the new DHCP but the phones fail to boot.

The 2008 windows firewall is off.

Is there some other setting I'm missing

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards
Darren

if you are doing FULL dhcp try setting the phone to Partial DHCP and see it it gets an IP at least.

If you are not getting the IP address at that point, put a sniffer on the port to see if you are getting the DHCP request from the phone. or your DHCP server is not servincing or is a part of that VLAN that the phones are on.
