We've recently added a new server to our server farm, and since one of our old servers is about to run out of disk space we've decided to move some of the databases that is running on the old server to the new server.

The database we've figured out would help the most to get moved is two different sharepoint databases.

They are currently running on MS SQL 2000, and will have to be moved to a MS SQL 2003 server. This shouldn't be a problem to do since MS SQL has the compatibility mode. But in stead of using windows authentication we'd like to use SQL to authenticate the site. Since the two servers is running on two different domains.

Now I've managed to move the databases and that is all good, next I've setup the default databases to point to the new server and everything seems to be working just fine here. Now I need to get the site that's already setup to use the database placed at the new server, in stead of hugging to the old server.

So how do I do this?
