Moving Call answer position 1

I am relatively new working with AVAYA partner...have a situation with a system with Processr 4.0 upgraded to 6.0, VM 5, two 308's. The cards are out of order. I have read, the VM should be on the right of the Porcessor...it is immediately left and the second 308 is on the right of the processor...

The system was set to have call answer operator at Ext 19

Went into VM and changed it to 10. It said it accepted it.

The calls still go to 19.
 
I think this problem and the other question you posted are inter-related.
 
If so why when I fix the first it doesn't seem to fix the second...I will try it again then
 
Does extension 10 have call forwarding and/or call coverage turned on to Ext 19?
