I have a form, frmNewClaims used to record new insurance repair projects to tblClaimLog. Among the many fields is ClaimAdjusterID. The user picks an adjuster from a combo box cboClaimAdjuster. (All adjuster contact information is stored in a table called tblAdjusters.)
Sometimes the adjuster is new and is not yet in the tblAdjusters and thus doesn’t show up in the cboClaimAdjuster. This means the user must first enter the new contact information by opening the frmNewAdjusters and then coming back to frmNewClaims in order to populate the ClaimAdjusterID field with the correct ID.
Is it possible (when the adjuster contact is new)to open the frmNewAdjusters, add the new contact, close that form and then come back to the frmNewClaims, requery the cboClaimAdjuster and set the focus back to that combo box?
Thanks in advance for your help.
