moving BCM 400 to another city with PRI 1

Hello,

I'm to pick up the BCM, drive down 1 hour and install it at the new office, I'm told the carrier will keep all the settings and thus what do I need to do is change?

Also, they are going from a spand of 10 to 15 active lines on the PRI, do I also need to turn them on?

Reinstall it the way u did at your current office & via programming provision 5 more b-channels on the DTM. Sounds like ur going from 10 b-channels to 15. correct?

Do I have to disable the PRI to provision 5 more channels?

Also, the receive telephone number will change, do I simply change that and things should be good?

Also, there is a VPN staying where the existing system is at this point, there will be 5-9 IP 2004 active. Once at the new local, will I need to change the IP address of the telephones? Where do I do this, did not see that via the element manager?

Disable pri - no

Set IP - changed thru set if using static

Are network ip addresses being changed? If not no reason to change set ip.

If you are not shure about this move you should have somebody that knows how to do the changes.>Make target lines assign to sets , provision lines etc...

cook1082, have done about 4 PRI on MICS, first on BCM, just covering all my bases, target lines 141, 142 already on existing BCM, itis operational at existing local.

This thread has been great, dropped off 2 nortel BSR222 at the client earlier today, VPN will be set up prior to move.

Anyything else I need to worry?

BCM target lines don't start at 141 or 142.

Where do they start, these 2 are active? Incoming calls only when you press on them.
