When our server was set up, Groupwise 6.0 was installed on the 15GB SYS volume along with Arcserve 7. What I quickly learned after coming on board was that the SYS volume was running out of drive space. I moved Arcserve to it's own volume and that worked great for a while but without proper maintenance of Groupwise I learned it used up most all of the free space. So here is the question...

How/can I, move the Groupwise accounts/users off the SYS Volume and onto another volume? I want to keep that SYS volume from filling up.

What GW Agents do you have running on this sys: volume (PO, Domain, Gateway(s)? Most databases can be moved by using just a copy command (ncopy for Netware). Let me know and I can be more specific. But as you probably know a good backup is wise before starting a procedure like this.

you just copy the directories across

you also need to modify the dir path in the poa and mta object

and also the path is specified in the .poa and .mta file

the agents arent a prob as they will stay on sys
