We are running AD 2003. To help with redundancy and failover, we will be moving a server with DFS, which is also acting as our 2ND DC, to our US office.

We have a T1 link between the sites, connected through a VPN

The US site is on a different subnet from our CAN office.

How do we successfully move the 2ND DC to the new location in regards to IP addressing, DNS, AD replication, etc..?

Thanks in advance

Setup AD Sites & Services correctly. When the server is sent to the other office, configure it with an IP address for that site.
