The question is:Is there a better way (or simple way) of completing a move for two DNI extensions in MCD5.0?

We recently upgraded a customer site with 2x Mitel 3300MXe to 5.0 SP1 PR1. Originally they were on 4.0 and also using Ops mananger. Some of the extensions on site1 are DNI Superset 4025.

The longterm plan is for these extensions to be upgraded to IP devices but for now is there any better way of moving DNI extensions rather than completely deleting and readding the information? Is there a process similar to the Moves,Adds,Changes that was in Ops Manager?

Not in the current release of software. You are stuck doing it the long way. Basically its the general trend to get rid of older devices in the product. Release 6 or 7 of MCD software will not even support per nodes.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Cannot even do with IP and its just in consideration for future releases
