moving a site to a new content database

Good morning all,

Just a quick (hopefully) question - I am a dba so I typically don't get involved with Sharepoint much but since Microsoft recommends keeping content databases at a maximum size of roughly 25 Gig how would one go about migrating an existing site to a new content database? Are there SharePoint utilities that assist with this?
