Just looking for some general help. The drive that my SQL 2000 database lives on is getting full. I would like to move it to a new drive on the same server. Is there a documented series of steps I should take to do this?
Thanks

You must first make sure all users are out of the database. Then just detach the database. Copy your mdf and ldf files to their new drives and attach the database. Make sure you have the proper database owner selected when you attach it.
