We are eliminating the Definity switch to which our call center is defined. In moving the CMS platform to the new switch, do I need to address any requirements other than:
defining new vector numbers in the Dictionary

changing the IP address on the box and in the IP-NodeNames screen

modifying CMS system properties in ASA to the new IP addr?
Thanks.

Don't forget to change the Center VU Supervisors login screen - if they're logging into the server, based on name, as opposed to IP already, then you're all set. If not, you may want to change that process, so when you change the IP address it won't matter.

Thanks,
Chris

In the "cmssvc" menu on the CMS, there is an option called "swinfo". This is where you set up the information on how the CMS connects to the switch and the types of features it supports. This needs to match the switch that you're connecting to. If something doesn't match, (such as the switch version) the link will never come up.
