movies wont link when published on c.d.

I have two movies linked to a main movie,
all linked through load movie/unload movie. All
works fine in the folder but as soon as I put the
exe`s on a cd they wont link- I messed about with path
i.e. loadMovienum("E:\first.swf",1but not too sure
if this is the right way to link movie paths????????
all a bit new to me u see.

This probably has such an easy solution>

Ok all of your movies are .exe??

If yes i can't help, maybe you could use

loadMovienum("first.exe",1

but i'm really not sure about this. Im only trying to help.

Or only use a .exe for the first one then use .swf???

yes their all exe.

I`ve just tried all variations of this (cos
it sounded like a winner), I tried one of them exe, then
all >and so on but didnt work........

And it works when it's not on the cd?

Can you open those individualy (from the cd)?

I never worked with more than one .exe at a time.

Thinking about it, why not put all in one .exe??? Have Fun...

AHHHHHH- got it!!!!!!!

They had to be in a folder (gawd knows why!) but I
found (by chance) that if all the exe files were in a
folder on the cd they link okay,I just had to tell auto run
where to find it.

This ensures a good nights sleep!!!!!!

I needed the whole thing split-up on c.d. because
if I have it all in one exe, it`ll take forever to load
