Movies in Red Hat 8.0 1

Hi guyz,

Does anyone know how to run movies or view VCD's(files with .dat extenstion) from the Red Hat 8.0 PC.

We have a Marketing presentation converted into a movie, so need to use it on a Linux Machine.......... will it work???

Try a media player called 'Xine' it runs all sorts of movie files including VCD's (have succesfully done this myself)
