Movie Dimensions!!!!

I have a movie made in Flash 5, the current dimensions are:
634.5 X 357.5
Is there any way that I can change the dimensions of this movie without affecting all the objects in the movie?

I have to make the swf smaller.... the actual movie has 766k.

I may be missing your point but as far as I know...changing the size of your swf is not going to affect your file size.

Changing your movie dimensions is very simple as Dav has already mentioned and will not affect your other objects except for the fact that anything outside the movie dimensions will not show up in the swf file.

If you are concerned about file size then you may look thru your flash file and make sure all your objects are symbols, make sure you are not using more than 3 or 4 different fonts, use an external editor such as Fireworks or photoshop to optimize your bitmap images (jpg, gif, etc.).

Gradient colors are another concern and are a bit heavier than solid colors in respect to file size.

Are you using music in your swf file? use mp3 instead of wav and consider streaming or reducing the sound to mono.

There are tons of ways to reduce file size and Dav or any of the guys here can attest to that and maybe even add to my list. Ya' Gotta Love It!X-)

Crawlr, can you make up your mind what you're talking about? First you say 'dimensions' then 'swf' then 'file size'. Not that it matters anymore cos Jeff's given plenty for you to work on in the meantime.
