Movie clip won't play

I've converted my time based animation to a movie clip, reinserted it into Scene 1, frame 1. When I test movie every thing plays except the movie clip. I looked in the library and if I click the arrow under options the movie plays, and if I double click the movie from the library,it plays on the stage alone. But it wont play with the rest of my stuff. any ideas? Thanks

Other than that... Would have to look at the .fla!

Ok! got your .fla. But what's the point here? You want to convert your KWP animation into a movie clip, and re-insert it in a one frame main movie?
If your main movie isn't a 1 frame movie, make sure the layer on which the new movie clip sits, is as long or equal to the longuest layer of that main movie. If it's only on frame 1, then you'll never see it!

Did convert it, and put it in a one frame movie...
If you want me to e-mail you the corrected .fla, just shout!

E-mail to me if you would.. That way I can see what you did and what I did wrong. I guess I'm trying to do to much to fast with the program. Thanks a lot.

This could be a similar scenario to when you insert a movie clip into a button. When you do this and drag the button onto the stage, the movie clip part of the button won't play even when you enable simple buttons.
Have you tried using control --> test movie? This should hopefully play the movie, and then all you have to do is export it to a .swf

If this doesn't work, its not the same scenario as what I was thinking.
Anyway....hope this helps.
