Good day,

So I have a client that attempted to move some folders from one drive to another. One of these folders was the bin for exchange. Exchange 2003 is still running properly on their server, but the server no longer has the exchange tabs in AD. So you can create new users, just not new email addresses. Also cannot edit any current email properties with this. I know I can install the exchange AD on another server, but I was wondering if I'm looking at a total reinstall of exchange with this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I spoke with an MS support guy that thought it would not work. Today is my first day in the office so I did not stop the service yet. I am planning on stopping the services and trying to move them back.

Stop the services, move it back, service pack 2 again then start the services.
