We have recently moved BP to a different SQL server. Previously the GP and SharePoint/BP data and config were on the same sql server. The same web server is being used.
SharePoint 2.0 works properly on the sql database from what I can tell as the administration page comes up properly and the default page comes up. - I did not reinstall SharePoint I am using the existing install but I changed the sql servers on the config page.
After re-installing BP I see all of the web components installed under the default website. -I reinstalled this after first removing the existing install.
GP9 - WSS 2.0 - not sure what BP version.
I am not sure where to specify my GP server as it is installed on a different sql server. Looking at my old sql server there was a business portal user account that has access to a group that does not exist on the new server. Were these users and group supposed to be created by one of the installs? This user also has acccess to the GP servers but they are not on the sql server that hs the sharepoint config.
