move win2k server to a new machine

We need to move our windows 2000 server to a new machine, and want to keep all the files and settings exactly how they are. What is the best way to do this. I have heard about the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard, but I think that only works if you import into WinXP. We just need the files and the active directory transfered. We use linux for the rest.

Or add the new computer to the 2K domain as a DC, let AD replicate, copy the other files you need then ditch the old machine. Hewissa
