Hello there,

I'm running ARCserve Backup r11.5 SP5 (Build 4490).

It's installed on the C:\ Partition and running well. But we are out of space there (1GB free out of 12 available).

There is a folder called C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\LOG\cas_user_logs\caroot with several Log-Files including the backup-logs. The whole folder is 2.5GB big... and contains useless information (for me).

May I delete this logfiles or are they required for some restore operations or such things? The files are 30 days old so I think that are those files that gets deleted while DB-pruning every night... and they actually "are" the DB?!

Is it possible to move this whole directory to another partition on the server? Maybe somewhere in the preferences?

Thanks... best regards, meep

Everything under the LOG subdirectory may be deleted.
It is not related to the database.
