Hi
I am hoping that someone has experianced the following scenario and can point me in the right direction.
I have a customer who currently has 2 w2k3 servers,(both dc`s).One of the servers runs a couple of accountancy programmes and if memory serves me right, using sql express. The customer is interested in having sbs 2003 on the network.
My plan is the following
1)install sbs 2003,recreate users/computer accounts
2)Migrate profiles from domain to local and use connecttocomputer wizard to join them to the new domain.
3)demote both w2k3 servers to workgroup and afterwards join them to the new sbs domain.
My question is in regard to the new sbs domain users authenticating to the sql server.I know that the sids will be different after i install sbs and join the w2k3 servers to the sbs domain. Is it possible to alter something in sql such that it will accept logons from the new domain users without having to reinstall the programmes?
Thanks for reading!
