We want to move our existing sql server to a completly new server with new harddrives but use the existing server name and so on. Would it be as simple as disconnecting the old server and loading windows 2000, sql 2000 and service packs then just restore using our Veritas sql backups? If so, does it matter the restore order because we'd have to try to restore the master and msdb database also? I think I has an issue with that in the past. Thanks, Joe
