Move SMS 2.0 database

I need to move the SMS sql database to another SQL server. I know how to move the database, but what do I need to do as far as the SMS install is concerned? SMS is NOT iinstalled on the SQL Server.

I saw several other posts with this same question and no answers... but thought I woould try again.
