Hi all, working on an existing office with a Partner Rel 7 ACS and Partner Messaging and now have added a new home office also with a new Partner Rel 8 ACS and was wondering what is involved in moving the PM card over to a new ACS? Will the programming follow? Is it likely the programming is worth saving? Better to reset and setup, or can one edit and update the programming?
It's a Partner Voice Messaging PC Card Release 3.0.
The thought is the voice mail makes more sense at the home office which is used more than the office-office.

The programming in the voice mail itself will be retained: The mailboxes, the Auto Attendant prompt, any selector code settings.

You should remove 78 and 79 from Hunt Group 7 on the old processor. You could clean up the programming by removing Auto VMS Coverage, and CallDistGrp settings, but without a working voicemail, they really won't matter.

On the new processor, add the extensions to the hunt group, assign Auto VMS Coverage, assign the lines to the Auto Attendant or Line Coverage, and the VMS Hunt Delay and Schedule.
